Biography

Cathy Moss is president of International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She became a member of local P.E.O. chapter DY in Grand Junction, Colorado, in 1989. Cathy is now living in Louisville, Kentucky, and is a member of Chapter E.

Cathy was appointed as the Texas State Chapter P.E.O. Continuing Education Chair in 1998 and served in this capacity for two years. She was elected to the executive board of P.E.O.’s Texas State Chapter in 2000 and presided at the 2006 Convention of Texas State Chapter in El Paso. She was appointed to the board of trustees for the P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education in 2006 and served as chair from 2009-2011. She served on the Nominating Committee of International Chapter from 2011-2013 and served as a Regional Membership Representative from 2013-2015.

Cathy grew up on a large farm in western Ohio and graduated with a degree in social science from Ball State University. After graduation, she was a ready-to-wear buyer for L.S. Ayres in Indianapolis.

Cathy has two sons, six grandchildren and a black lab. She is a member of Bardstown Road Presbyterian Church, Lakeside Swim Club, the Speed Art Museum and the Cherokee Triangle Association. Cathy enjoys a wide range of interests and activities; she is a yoga and fitness enthusiast, a certified ice hockey coach, a Life Master Bridge player and is a world traveler.
